What is Minipedia?
Minipedia is a fast and simple way to access Wikipedia® articles using your iPhone or iPad without a network connection.

No Network Connection required
No Signal? Don't worry! No matter where you are, with Minipedia you'll have a whole encyclopedia right at your fingertips.
Minipedia works offline and provides access to complete article texts, formulas and, of course, tables!
Important: You must have access to wireless local area network (WiFi) for downloading databases.
Most Viewed Articles
Don't waste your precious space on your mobile device for non-relevant articles. Minipedia provides only the most important ones.
Search as you Type!
Searching for articles is extremely fast, as soon as you type the first letter you will see the first matches!
Tips & Tricks
- Scroll To Top: Tap the status bar to scroll to the top.
- Change Text Size: Pinch the article view to increase or decrease the text size.
- Take a Screenshot: Tap the Share button to capture a screenshot. You can post it on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, save it to your camera roll or e-mail it to your friends!

Currently Minipedia is supported on the following platforms:
- iPhone / iPod Touch: Fully supported and optimized.
- iPad: Supported, but not yet optimized for better readability and navigation.
- Android: Not yet supported, but we're working on it.
